Buying your first piano is not an easy task. It can be difficult to determine which piano to buy and whether you should invest in purchasing a piano at all.
Some of the most asked questions asked by parents were:
1) Should I buy my child an acoustic piano or digital piano? Keyboard and organ any difference?
2) Piano teacher said “Buy a piano with full size, weighted keys”. What does this mean?
3) I don’t know if my child will continue playing. He/she may give up in 6 months. Should I just buy a small keyboard first?

Amanda is the principal of Manda Learning Centre. She has over 10 years teaching experience in Music and Early Child Education. She has her own systematic teaching method that always make the lesson fun and easy. She conducted music workshop regularly and understand the concern of parents and students. Her students age group from age of 4 till elderly group. She would like to share her experience and knowledge to clear up some of the questions that you may have when taking piano lessons and during buying a piano.
Jayden Chua, Bachelor of Comtemporary Music from UCSI. He teach contemporary piano,ukulele and song writing.He is honored to be part of choir performing in Dewan Pilharmonik Petronas, in collaboration with Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO) under the baton of meastro Benjamin Zander(England) in 2017.
